
Vasco Dine Wine Deli is an exciting new café & restaurant that has recently opened in the charming village of Fanore, Co. Clare.
Situated in the heart of the Burren and enjoying spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, Aran Islands and surrounding countryside, Vasco serves up an interesting menu using locally-sourced produce to the local community and visitors to the region.
An all-day restaurant with a large sea-view terrace, Vasco offers breakfast, coffees and cakes as well as a Mediterranean-style lunch and dinner menu.
The owners Ross Quinn and Karen Mc Guinness are keen to provide high-quality food at reasonable prices.
Following several years living and working in France, Germany and Luxembourg, the couple returned to Clare to find a suitable premises for the venture and searched for over two years to find the right location.
Both owners speak French and German and have knowledge of Spanish and Italian, and offer a "Cead Mile Failte" to all visitors to the Burren National Park.
Vasco was opened by Ross and Karen in May 2009.
